Honey, propolis and beeswax organic soap

Pure organic and ethical trade luxury soap! Hand-made in Cameroon by women using Soil Association certifed organic and ethical trade honey, beeswax, and propolis - mixed with palm oil and cotton oil for a beatiful soft lather, and speckled with ground propolis and kofia seeds. This is a soft and creamy feeling soap, handcut and shaped into squares, hearts and oblongs of approx 250g each. This soap is handmade - so the colour changes slightly depending on the mix of ingredients used!

The Kofia, a savanna tree (Daniella oliveri) produces a rich medicinal oil-seed that has been traditionally used by local Gbaya women for centuries for its soothing and medicinal oil.
Some of the women who make the soap are beekeepers or are wives of beekeepers and have started up soap making to diversify thier sources of income for the family.

Note: This product is shipped from Cameroon to the Netherlands, and postage costs from 250g up to 2kg (incl. packaging) are the same, so it makes sense to order in bulk or ocmbine with other products up to 2kg!
