Basil encourages concentration and sharpens the senses so is useful when taking exams. Basil is mainly divided into chemotypes of Camphor, Eugenol, Methyl Cinnamate, Reunion and Sweet Basil. This is Methyl Chavicol type which contains up to 33% Methyl Chavicol, 40% Linalool and 15% Methyl Cinnamate.
