A is for Alphabet Alphabetty Designs is a range of bright, bold and fun appliqu designs that are educational and eco-friendly. Each t-shirt has been designed around the alphabet so A is for Apple, have a browse in our shop to discover the rest of our alphabet! B is for Betty Alphabetty started as a hobby, I wanted to make my childrens clothes personalised, eye catching and defiantly not run of the mill. I also wanted to customise their clothes ethically, brightly and with education in mind so when a friend saw one of my alphabet t-shirts she asked could if one could be made for her child and Alphabetty was born! C is for Customise Each t-shirt is made to order so please contact Betty if you would like to make any changes, perhaps to personalise with a name or with initials or if you would like a custom t-shirt then please take a look at our Custom Designs page! D is for Design The design process starts with inspiration! This can come from anywhere such as a nature walk, a book or the idea just pops in. Then the idea is roughly sketched either by hand or using my lovely little laptop. Once I am happy with the layout a template is created this is then transferred on to the felt and cut out by hand, then hand-sewn to the t-shirt. Then its beautifully wrapped in recycled packaging! E is for Ecological All our t-shirts are 100% organic cotton and the felt is Eco-Fi, which is made from recycled plastic bottles. The bottles are cleaned, chopped in to flake, melted and then extruded in to fibres hey presto Eco-Fi felt is made!
