nursery ideas

Choosing how to decorate your baby’s nursery can be almost as difficult as giving birth… well okay maybe that a little bit of an exaggeration but we have picked out some really cool eco-friendly products to inspire you to think green when decorating the nursery

This train sticker (above) is a quirky, decorative and eco-friendly way to stimulate your childs imagination. It’s made from PVC-FREE self-adhesive which is a bio material, completely free of chlorine and plasticizers. These stickers are a really quick and easy way to inject fun and creativity into a baby’s nursery and they leave no marks or residue when removed a great alternative to wallpaper. Alternativly if stickers arent for you consider using a bright coloured VOC free paint to quickly create a fresh fun environment.

 natural wooden children's animal mobile

There is nothing quite like the look of fascination on a baby’s face as they look out on the world for the first time. If anything is going to make them smile it has to be this sustainably sourced, Noah's Ark inspired wooden mobile with 15 beautiful animals waiting to climb aboard. It's bright, stimulating, and would make a great focal point in any nursery.

If there is one thing babies love to do its sleep, so this beautiful handmade organic maize Moses basket will provide your new born with the best and most natural start in life. The basket is constructed from natural maize which is much stronger than the more commonly used palm leaf basket meaning it will hold it's shape much more than the softer more flexible palm material.

Childrens bookcase

A great example of simple eco-design, this low fronted babies bookcase means they can easily peer inside and flick through to select the books they want you to read to them. The bookcase can be decorated to match the nursery’s colour schemes or you could let the little one get create on it withcrayons and pencils!

Made in UK from 80% recycled cardboard; 100% reusable, recyclable and biodegradable it’s certainly much more eco friendly than your standard Ikea bookcase.
