Designed by Gianluca Soldi, the Ovetto recycling bin is made from recycled materials and promotes the separation of household waste with its ingenious design. Its stylish ecological design has transformed the recycling bin from being something you hide from sight when guest visit to a feature and talking point in any kitchen. The Ovetto Recycling Bin Designed by Italian architect, designer and art director Gianluca Soldi who holds a doctorate in Interior Design and specializes in bio-architecture and sacred art. The bins materials make a statement about the benefits of recycling as it is made from recycled polypropylene, the same material used in ropes and carpeting.
Named after the Italian word for ‘egg’, the Ovetto recycling bin takes on a natural shape with soft contours. It is cleverly divided into three compartments to make recycling easier and more organised, each one identified with a different colour for glass, paper and cardboard – in fact anything you can or wish to recycle and Appliqué stickers come with each bin for easy identification of the compartments. Each compartment has a door making bag changes quick and tidy and a small rounded lid at the top for quickly dropping waste.
At its crown a plastic bottle compactor has been fitted to reduce volume and allow a larger number of bottles to be collected and stored. The Ovetto Recycling bin is available in white with striking and vibrant Blue, Brown and Yellow door panels as well as a black and plain white version for those Apple design lovers.
As well as being super practical, it’s super cute too and is bound to become a real talking point in any kitchen, certainly a stylish step up from a green curb side recycling bin.
